Esensia was born right here in the Coachella Valley, where the sun shines more than 350 days a year, a place we're proud to call home.

As children of immigrant parents, we grew up navigating circumstances that, on paper, placed us in more than a few at-risk categories. Statistically speaking, the odds weren't always in our favor.
​
Along the way, we were fortunate to find opportunities and people who believed in us, allowing us to give back to the very communities that shaped us.
​
Our story began in the neighborhoods and schools we still call home. What some might consider starting at the bottom, we see as the foundation of who we are and what we do.
​
Over the years, we've worked in nonprofits, education, and the private sector. We've developed programs, collected data, evaluated outcomes, and worked alongside people committed to making a difference.
​
Through it all, we've learned that everyone has a story worth telling. Data can help tell those stories, but it's the people, their experiences, and their perspectives that give the numbers meaning.
That's why we created Esensia.

To help people and organizations tell their own stories in ways that inspire understanding, connection, and meaningful change. Because to us, this work has always been personal.
